RPYA's Parent & Caregiver Group is a bi-monthly support group (currently meeting 2nd & 4th Tuesday via zoom) to provide support for those who support LGBTQ+ youth. Parents, Teachers, Providers, and any adult who lives or works with LGBTQ+ youth are welcome. Topics covered include communication, terminology, relationships, safety, and ways to care for yourself as you're caring for others.
RPYA's Parent & Caregiver Group Facebook page is an extension of that support. We created this space for parents and caregivers who are interested in attending our support group. This space will help us share additional resources and stay in contact in between meetings.
This group is a private group, meaning you are screened prior to being accepted into the group to assure you are interested in the group and you provide care to LGBTQ youth.
This is a SAFE SPACE. Please share and support within the group and keep confidentiality outside the group.
